Going So Wrong

You can do something rich in Gmail now, but you don't really want to, or I don't want you to.

Please spend the time on the writing.

Meet My Friends

My lovely stuff-giving friends, from recent months to few years ago:

蘿蔔芋頭糕 (from mother)

After this, my mother knows I like daikon and sesame, but not taro.

Mother's Cake

Mavis, Chloe, Joey, Toby (from Rock)

No, not 女生宿舍. No, not LOMO, i bought/bid it myself. It's the Doraemon-Crab and its pocket showing me the champion of the who-get-the-crab game.

Rock's Crab

A Look (from Jamsen)

A postcard from Japan. I like it like I like orange and white.

Jamsen's Postcard

Photo Album (from Mrs. Chung)

I like the touch of the cover, and you'll too, but I won't let you.

Mrs. Chung's Mini Album

Tiny People Trapped (from Steven)

A nice tiny people razor hanger in a not so nice package that looks so nice it's not nice to tear it open.

Steven's Razor Hanger

Polizei (from Connie)

Playmobil, cool; Playmobil in German, super cool.

Connie's Playmobil Polizei

If I miss something you gave me, don't bother to remind me. Try giving me another something?

To Me, Please

Ever since the 20 Beans' latest show, On & On has started sending me promotional emails, which I never asked for. Moreover, there was no {To:} email header field, so i couldn't tell them which of my email aliases to remove from their mailing list. “Move To Trash” was my only choice, (because “Report Spam” is meant to be used against evil people only).

Today I receive something different, something nice: it has a {To: t2by...} field and it has a "Don't Bother Me" link that actually works. Good work.

To celebrate the revival of decency, I'm sharing this very last email from On & On with you:

Btw, I like the 石頭公社網頁, except its black background. No splash page, no Flash animation, and it is a blog! I know, I'm so last century to be fascinated about a blog used wisely.

Before Google

Michael S. Malone asks:

Which Web powerhouse was started by two Stanford geeks as a simple search page with a silly name and became the biggest thing on the Internet? Nope, not them. Try again.

Answer (on Wired), and that simple search page (via Forever Geek).
